Multi-diversified Impilo Life Kollective Scaling Up Nutrition(MILKSUN)  is a Food and Nutrition, alternatives  Community Based Organization founded and run by People Living With HIV and AIDS [PLHIV];the Collective uses food as a vehicle to break social and economic isolation between generations and to strengthen and nourish its  local community. They  do this through their  volunteer and intergenerational programs.

Their  aim  is to bring the most nutritious food to the kitchen table. They intend to grow ,buy and eat organic produce wherever  possible to support local organic practitioners and a sustainable food system and of course to use the most nutrient rich foods for their  day to day cooking needs.

All of Multi-diversified Impilo Life Kollective Scaling Up Nutrition(MILKSUN)  interventions  are anchored to  the Feeding Ourselves Sustainably in HIV&AIDS response  (FOSHA) program; it uses food as a tool for community development. Feeding Ourselves Sustainably ,HIV&AIDS (FOSHA) is a concept that anchors nutrition in a wider context ensuring that educational social ,cultural, economic and political influences are taken into account.
